The Carmichael Kiwanis Club is part of the California- Nevada-Hawaii District of Kiwanis International. This year the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce awarded the club the Non-Profit Organization of the Year.

Members of our club as well as members worldwide help their communities in countless ways. By working together we achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things happen.

Service footprint: Service is at the heart of the Carmichael Kiwanis club. Take a look at our Community Service menu (it's located on the left hand side of this page) to learn more about some of the projects where our club members volunteer their time. We feel that being members of Kiwanis makes the world a better place.  Please feel free to contact us for more information.

A family of servant leaders: Kiwanis clubs focus on improving the lives of children. To do this our club sponsors Key Clubs for teens at Del Campo and Foothill High Schools.  Additional Kiwanis International family clubs include: K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; CKI clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities. Additionally the club sponsors a Boy Scout Troop and Venturing.

Fellowship and fun: Kiwanis members don’t just do service—they have fun. Members make new friends by being part of a club where they attend meetings and participate in social events. Kiwanis clubs also provide excellent networking opportunities for professionals. Members meet new people from all over their region and the world through service projects, fundraising and by attending district and Kiwanis International Conventions.

Take a look at the video below to learn how one can make a difference in the life of a child.
