Welcome from the Kiwanis Club of Carmichael:
As President of Carmichael Kiwanis, I want to invite you to join with
the 86 members who are passionate about improving the Carmichael
Community. You will find information on
our many committees and activities on this website, and we encourage you to
attend any of the events listed.
Every Wednesday morning at 7:00 AM, you will find a welcoming group of
50-60 men and women gathered for a one-hour meeting at the Carmichael Elks
Lodge, 5631 Cypress Avenue, at the corner of Hackberry and Cypress. Each week features a full buffet breakfast, an
interesting speaker, a review of coming activities, and a great deal of FUN.
Kiwanis is a worldwide organization with over 600,000 members. We are proud to be the largest and one of the
oldest Kiwanis Clubs in the area. We
just celebrated our 50th year in 2011-12. Our membership is comprised of a diverse
group of men and women from all walks of life.
Our dues are modest while our vision is lofty and our mission is
grand. If you are looking for ways to
volunteer, but have yet to find the key to getting started, try Carmichael
Kiwanis. You will be glad you did!
