As President of Carmichael Kiwanis during our 50th year, 2011-2012, I want to invite you to join with the 85 members who are passionate about improving the Carmichael community. You will find information on our many committees and activities on this website, and we encourage you to attend any of these events.
Additionally, every Wednesday morning at 7:00, you will find a welcoming group of 50-60 men and women gathered for our one-hour meeting at the Carmichael Elks Lodge, 5631 Cypress Avenue—at the corner of Hackberry. Each week features a full buffet breakfast and interesting speaker, as well as a revue of the coming activities and a great deal of fun.
Kiwanis is a world-wide organization with over 600,000 members. We are proud to be the largest, and one of the oldest Kiwanis Clubs in the area.. Our membership is comprised of a diverse group of men and women from all walks of life. Our dues are modest while our vision and purpose are high. If you are looking for ways to volunteer, but haven’t found the key to getting started, try Carmichael Kiwanis…you will be glad you did!
